Recenter. Recharge. Reemerge.

You don’t have to compromise your mental health to maintain your career trajectory. Burnout isn't a lack of discipline; it is an invisible state of chronic survival mode. An overactive mind can quickly transform from a competitive edge to a relentless source of persistent self-critique and isolation. I help professionals navigate the intense pressures of the New York City life.

Meet Mike

Reconnect. Reimagine. Reignite.

Are you an ambitious professional navigating these internal barriers:

"Why am I completely checked out and irritable when I finally log off?"
"How do I overcome this constant layer of professional self-doubt?"
"Why does navigating interpersonal dynamics feel more draining than my actual workload?"

Operating under a silent pressure cooker eventually fractures your health, your clarity, and your home life. Traditional counseling methods often miss the mark with high-achieving men because they focus on passive venting.
My clinical approach is collaborative, data-driven, and designed for driven minds. Combining Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for immediate stress tolerance, psychodynamic tracking to identify deep-seated behavioral blueprints (schemas), and EMDR as an optional tool for rapid processing, we target the precise root causes of your burnout and anxiety.

I understand that talking about feelings may not come naturally, and therapy isn’t about “fixing” a defect. Therapy is a strategic partnership to help you untangle unwanted coping patterns, process acute stress, and regain absolute command over your mental, emotional, and relational presence. This work protects your health, your key relationships, and your professional trajectory.

Providing elite out-of-network teletherapy for professionals across Midtown, Wall Street, Grand Central, and Brooklyn Heights.

To protect absolute clinical confidentiality and provide tailored, high-performance care without insurance panel restrictions, my practice operates strictly on an out-of-network, private-pay basis.

Why I Don’t Accept Insurance

I choose not to work directly with insurance companies because it allows you more freedom, privacy, and control over your care. Most insurance plans require a mental health diagnosis to cover therapy, and they often request personal clinical details to approve or extend treatment. This can limit your confidentiality and put sensitive information into your permanent medical record.

Insurance can also restrict your choice of therapist and how long you can stay in therapy. In contrast, paying privately means you’re free to choose a therapist who feels like the right fit, decide what issues to focus on (even if they’re not considered a “disorder”), and continue therapy for as long as it’s helpful-not just until coverage runs out.

Most likely your current health insurance policy or employee benefit plan will routinely reimburse you for 60% to 80% of our sessions cost once your deductible is met.

Out-of-Network Reimbursement:

I can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit for reimbursement. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for out-of-network psychotherapy services.

I recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

● Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
● Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
● Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
● Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Payment

I accept all major credit cards as well as payments through Zelle and Venmo.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 business hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
